Memphis, TN.  ‘The Academy’ 2001 team won the Adidas Premier Invitational in Memphis, TN with a 3-game win over Brilla of Mississippi, Cincinnati United, Ohio and St. Louis Ajax from Missouri. The ’01’s scored 12 total goals, conceding only one from a penalty-kick called for an unfortunate hand ball during the opening game. Solid defense laid the platform for the winning effort. This was the teams second title win of 2017.
