‘The Academy’ sent three teams to Pensacola, Florida for the Blue Angles Classic Tournament and came away with Championship success for the 2001 and 2005 age groups with the 2008’s taking the runners-up spot as beaten finalists in their age grouping.

For the ’01’s it was their sixth tournament victory of 2017. They dominated this latest event without conceding a goal from three straight victories in their group and this including teams one and two years older than themselves. Solid defense with dynamic offensive play saw them home in style.

For the ’05’s playing in their first competitive year, it was a first tournament win and reflected the growth and development of the team as a whole. The ’08’s in their first tournament appearance were unfortunate not to add to their older club-mates successes coming up short in their final taking the runners-up spot.
