Atlanta, GA –  On Sunday last ‘The Academy’ 01 team claimed the Southern Soccer Academy Summer Classic Tournament championship with a penalty-kick shoot-out win over the host SSA Chelsea team. Blaine Bourgeois was the cup final hero with three shoot-out saves to give his team the 4-1 win after a 1-1 tie in regulation.

The 03 team also did ‘The Academy’ proud reaching the final in their age group but unfortunately losing the penalty-kick shoot-out. The team had tied the Atlanta Fire ECNL opponents 1-1 in regulation.
