Chattanooga, TN – It was another tournament win for the ’01 team in the Chattanooga (TN) Riverfest event. The boys won the final by 5-1 against PSA Chattanooga. Amazingly our ’03 boys made it to the semi-final of the 2001 bracket playing two years up. Even more amazing was both The Academy teams were matched together in that game earlier in the day on Sunday. The ’01’s were certainly given a fright being unable to score on the ’03’s in regulation as the younger team put on a stellar performance holding their older clubmates to a 0-0 tie. The ’01’s advanced to the final only after winning the pk shootout by 5-4. The ’05 boys took 2nd place in their division. The ’06 team are coming together nicely and played some excellent soccer without getting the results they probably deserved but they are improving all the time.
