The 2003 team made its fourth Championship game appearance in tournament play this seasonal year but after winning the first three they found Baton Rouge too hot to handle at the Mississippi Rush Spring Classic in Jackson this weekend. Despite an impressive three wins in the group stages the final this time proved a game too far.

The 2001 team lost an opening group game 1-2 also against the Baton Rouge club and despite winning the next two games against the Cajun Soccer Club of Lafayette and the South Mississippi Soccer Club they missed out on the Championship game.

Both teams played hard and will learn from this event.
