Vestavia Hills, Ala. –  The Academy 2010 age group team took the silver medal in tournament play this past weekend. Attending the Liberty Cup in Birmingham the team excelled despite having some of their group playing up on our 2008 team. Also attending were the 2006 and 2004 age group teams. It was a first tournament for the ’08’s as well as the ’10’s. All teams had younger age group players playing up to give these players the added problem of a more physical challenge There were different levels of scoreboard success for each team but the experience overall was excellent as the teams found solutions for the questions being asked. Coach Carl Reynolds saw this event as another significant step forward in the overall development process.
