It was the 2008 boys that took pride of place last weekend winning their age group tournament in Meridian, Mississippi while the 2007 team also showed well in their tournament appearance. Meanwhile two other boys teams were in Atlanta, Georgia at a college showcase. The 2001 team went 1-1-1 in a very tough bracket. They tied the Atlanta Fire United 0-0 and beat the Mandeville Lakers 2-0, losing to Georgia ODP. The 2002 team made up mainly of ‘03 players had two narrow losses Saturday but came out with the win over Atlanta Fire United by 2-1 on Sunday.
