Decatur, Ala. – The Academy 2009 team (pictured left) finished runners-up in the Alabama Junior Cup in Decatur on Sunday. Having won their three group games they were close to making it a sweep but went down by 1-2 against a strong team out of Tennessee in the final.

Our 2008 team lost its last group game and just missing out on the final and our 2005 team went 1-1-1 in group play.

Despite extremely cold conditions the players warmed the spirits with some excellent games and fine play.
