The Oakes Training Center, Oak Grove, Miss. –  Southern States Soccer (3S) were happy to help out a local lacrosse group with their high school tournament event this past weekend. Teams from across the state and from Louisiana converged at the Oakes Training Center to play a full slate of friendly games, including evening games under the floodlights. 3S were contacted after the groups original plan to use Tatum Park in Hattiesburg was scuppered leaving them without a venue and little time to find a new one. 3S were happy to provide The Oakes and close to a thousand people were onsite over the two days of competition. 3S received a lot of thank-yous and warm wishes from the players, officials and parents who all seemed highly impressed by the facility and the hospitality.
