Jackson, MS –  The Southern States Soccer 2004/05 Academy team played up in the 2003 division of the Mississippi Rush Crossroads of the South Tournament last weekend. Despite the age and physical differences the team played productive, possession based football which led to some impressive performances including a 6-0 victory over local rivals the Hattiesburg Futbol Club. The last game on Sunday saw the boys defeat Mississippi Rush 2-1 in a tough, physical encounter that led to two late red cards for the host team.
