Niceville, FL  –  The boy’s under 19 and under 16 (’05 division) Academy teams swept up at the I-10 Futbol Alliance league games in Florida this past weekend. The u-19’s defeated Bayside by 2-0 in the Premier Division to go W2-T-1-L0 on the season. The older team which is a mix of 2001-02 and 03 players dominated throughout although limited to just the two goals. There was also the introduction of Caleb Jowers and Parker Denney, both ’04 players and both had an influence on the game. Caleb played the entire game and Parker provided an assist as a second half substitute.

In the under 16 boys select division (’05’s) The Academy easily defeated Gulfsouth by 6-0 and FC Dallas EC by 4-1. The wins made it four out of four in league play for the ’05’s.

The U14 team defeated FC Dallas EC 7-0 n their only game of the day.

The Academy DOC Carl Reynolds was satisfied with the overall performances of all the teams and said, “we are looking forward to completing the league schedule of games on a high note and this was a good start for us in our inaugural season”. The league completes its season through October and the first week of November.
