The Oakes Training Center, Oak Grove, Miss –  Stars head coach Carl Reynolds ran his eye over more than 20 would be NPSL players on Saturday. The Stars held two sessions over the day getting a look at some local talent, as well as some from as far away as Australia. “Some will be invited back for the invitational I.D. event in January” said Reynolds, “the standard was high and the training and games were excellent”. Some of the players who turned out were former Southern States SC academy players such as Blaine Bourgeois (LSU-Shreveport), Gannon Key (St. Leo University, Florida), and Miller Hayden.
