The Oakes Training Center, Oak Grove, Miss. –  Casey Heustess a long-time member of the Southern States Soccer Academy has inked to play his collegiate soccer for the Bisons of Harding University.  Casey will move to Searcy, Arkansas to play NCAA D2 soccer. Currently, a member of our Stars U-19 team, “Casey is a skillful forward and goalscorer, has always worked hard on his game and everyone at the club is extremely pleased he has been rewarded with this opportunity”, said Stars G.M. Nigel Boulton.

The proud parents of Casey, who attends Biloxi H.S. are dad Casey and mother Sharon. Casey was named to the Sun-Herald All-South Mississippi team.

There’s another connection to Harding as their current head coach Jon Ireland is well known to our own Nigel Boulton from Ireland’s youth playing days in Arkansas. Boulton was the State Director of Coaching in Arkansas and responsible for the state teams that Ireland represented. The Harding program has improved considerably under Ireland who is in his fifth season having gone 40-26-7 overall.
