Birmingham, AL –  The ’03’s took pride of place winning the Liberty Cup at Vestavia Hills in Birmingham, Alabama over the weekend but it has to be noted they played in a weak bracket scoring over 20 goals in three games. The competition for the newer ’05, ’07 and ’08 teams was significantly higher and there was a mix of wins and losses in what was their first tournament event. These youngsters will have gained precious experience and game knowledge to take back to their ‘Academy’ practices and to work through in the weeks ahead. ‘Creating the Future’.
