Birmingham, Ala. –  Our Player Development Center team coached by Tony Marriel had a successful tournament adventure at the Birmingham Bash this past weekend. The boys have trained hard recently and deserved their fine showing. They built their success on sound defensive principals throughout and strong goalkeeping from Jacob Painter. Although conceding just one goal in all three games and that in a 4-1 victory, their opening 0-0 tie was the result that dented their first place hopes. Sandwiched between those two games was a 1-0 victory as the PDC finished undefeated with a W2-T1-L0 record.

Our 2010 Academy team started on fire and defeated BUSA Black in bracket play but failed to advance after two losses in the other games.
