The Jacksonville Armada FC U-23 hosted Southern States SC for their first home match of the season. This was the Stars first game of the season, and Jacksonville’s second.

At the start of the game, the Stars pushed their way into some exciting chances that we were unable to finish. Little did that deter the Stars, they kept pushing until they were caught on the counter and dropped to a 0-1 result to close out the first half.

When the second half started,  it was clear that Jacksonville were out to get more goals and the Stars were not backing down either. The game was very end to end, with chances going both ways. Unfortunately, the Stars finished the game losing 2-0 to the Armada.

Congratulations to Jacksonville. All of our eyes on the next game (home opener) versus New Orleans Jesters at 7:30pm on Saturday night.
