Birmingham, AL – Terry Moore completed his two week visit to Southern States Soccer with a weekend series of three coaching sessions for our Birmingham area players held in Hoover, Alabama. Almost 40 players turned out for the sessions with ‘The Academy’ coaches Nigel Boulton and Tony Marriel also in attendance. Terry was excited to learn of the ongoing success and plans for ‘The Academy’ and eager to encourage both players and coaches together. Terry told the group about what it takes to reach the top having previously coached many of English Premier League team Southampton’s successful academy players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (now Arsenal), Luke Shaw (now Manchester Utd) and current Saints star James Ward-Prowse. These are just three of the many Terry has coached who are now making a professional career in the game in England. Terry wished everyone the best for the 2017-18 seasonal year and we look forward to seeing him again soon. Terry Moore is a former teammate of coach Nigel Boulton.
