Welcome to our new coaches
The Oakes Training Center, Oak Grove, Miss. – Over the recent weeks Southern States Soccer have added three new coaches to our staff.
Catie Lyles has joined us to take up the roll of Programs Manager for our Little Kickers and Pre-Academy programs and will also work on the girl’s Academy side under Director of Coaching Jade Reynolds. Catie played four years of college soccer, two years at Meridian Community College and at the University of Montevallo, and at Mississippi College. Catie is also on the MSA Olympic Develop Program coaching staff and is currently the girls and boys high school coach at Columbia High School. She has a bachelors degree in sport coaching education and currently holds her National Youth and National C coaching licenses.
Clifton Marshall also played at Meridain Community College before moving on to William Carey University here in Hattiesburg. His high school soccer was played right here at Oak Grove HS graduating in 2002. Cliffy will assist Catie with the Little Kickers and Pre-Academy program. Off the field he is Commander of Alpha Company 1-155th Mechanized Infantry of Biloxi.
Our third addition is young Kennedy Moore. Kennedy joined the girls program working with coach Jade a few months ago as a trainee assistant. She played high school soccer at Petal High School and is looking forward to learning more as she progresses with her coaching skills.
